Resident Elston Hill took some great photos Thursday afternoon (Oct. 20) of fishing boats and Orcas from his Burien home.
“We had Fishing boats this morning and this afternoon,” Elston said. “Started out at Vashon Island. Then came across near Three Tree Point. The same fish were an attraction for the Orcas that arrived in large numbers around 2 p.m. Unfortunately, they mostly stayed under fishing and were hard to see. Finally, we ended with a beautiful day as reflected in the view north to Fauntleroy and the lighthouse at Alkai Beach.”
