REMINDER: Locally-filmed ‘M.O.P.Z’ at Film Office Happy Hour Tuesday night!

REMINDER: The hilarious and innovative comedy short “M.O.P.Z.” – filmed mostly at Burien’s Sunnydale Elementary School – will be featured at the next Burien Film Office Happy Hour, to be held this TUESDAY, Sept. 6, from 5:30-7 p.m.

“M.O.P.Z.” tells the story of a lazy janitor who builds a robot to do his dirty work. Only the story is told in fast-forward in just 11 minutes! Imagine watching a 30-Minute Canadian 1990s sitcom on a VHS player that’s stuck in fast-forward, including with sped-up audio and tons of great sight gags, fake commercials and incredibly hilarious scenes.

Directed by Todd Rohal, and Written by Rohal and Benjamin Kasulke, “M.O.P.Z.” has been featured on the Adult Swim cable network. It was Executive Produced by Laccey Levitt and Mischa Jakupcak, and Co-Produced by Megan Griffiths.

The production was shot Jan. 9-17, 2016, with Gevin Booth serving as the Art Director (full credits are here).

This will be a very fun, funny and informative night, which you won’t want to miss – and we recommend watching the film at least once all the way through before attending (but it’s best if you watch it at least 2-3 times, as you’ll surely see new gags!):

And if you felt like you missed some of the gags, here’s a slowed-down version:
