Local Guide: Where to watch the 2023 State of Origin on the Lower North Shore.

It’s that time of the year again! Whether you’re on Team Blue or Team Maroon, you’ll need somewhere to watch all the State of Origin action next Wednesday.

We’ve pulled together a little explainer on the biggest event in the NRL calendar, including the local drinking holes offering special deals for the big game.

The first State of Origin game for 2023 kicks off on Wednesday 31 May in Adelaide.

When does the 2023 State of Origin kick off?

The 2023 State of Origin will bring game one to Adelaide Oval (the first time since 2020), with the following two matches bringing rival teams NSW and QLD on home soil.

Here are the match details for the 2023 State of Origin:

  • Game I: Wednesday, May 31 at Adelaide Oval, 8:05 pm
  • Game II: Wednesday, June 21 at Suncorp Stadium, 8:05 pm
  • Game III: Wednesday, July 12 at Accor Stadium, 8:05 pm

Who is televising the 2023 State of Origin?

The State of Origin games are broadcast live on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Where can I watch the game on the Lower North Shore?

There are several local pubs who will welcome Blues and Maroons fans on Wednesday night.
