Barcelona have been quick to remind Chelsea of one of their recent triumphs over the Blues in the Champions League after the heavyweights were paired together yet again in the competition.
During the draw in Nyon it was revealed that Chelsea will host Barcelona at Stamford Bridge before the second leg of the Round of 16 tie at the Nou Camp. It was a terrible draw for Antonio Conte’s side, who seem to have paid the price for finishing second in their group behind Roma.
Over the last decade the sides have been involved in some memorable games, most recently in 2012 when Chelsea somehow managed to draw 2-2 at the Nou Camp, despite John Terry being sent off.
They advanced to the final 3-2 on aggregate and would go on to win the competition by beating Bayern in the final in Munich. However, Barcelona preferred to remember the previous meeting between the teams following today’s draw.
We’ve had some great times at Stamford Bridge, haven’t we, @andresiniesta8? pic.twitter.com/R9BZq99HN0

Soon after Barcelona’s tweet, Chelsea responded by putting out a very different memory on Twitter. They went for John Terry’s header which sealed a 5-4 aggregate win during a meeting in 2005.
What a header from JT!
