Chefling Tales: Top 3 Molten Lava Cakes in Islamabad

When it comes to desert cravings, I hardly know anyone who doesn’t include chocolate cakes in their list. And when it comes to chocolate cakes, what can be more satisfying than a great Molten Lava Cake with exotic chocolate oozing out as you pass your fork through it?

Tempting, huh? Well, if that’s got your mouth watering, let’s talk about the best places in the capital to find these little piles of joy. Here are my top picks for Molten Lava Cakes in Islamabad.

3. Tiffany’s Café

Islamabad’s Sector F-7 is a home to some of the best eateries in the city. And that’s the reason I end up heading there whenever my cravings are on fire.

Tiffany’s Café lists among the best eateries in F-7. The Molten Lava Cake here is warm and quite gooey. What I loved the most about the chocolate cake here was the presentation. Many people told me that the Lava Cake at Tiramisu was better, but I believe both of them offer a lip-smacking experience.

Located on Nazimudin Road, the seating arrangement is quite open and the ambiance pleasant. What keeps bringing me back to this place is the quality of food. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy dessert in a great atmosphere.

2. Tiramisu Café & Bakery

Also in F-7 is one of the best places for Italian and Thai cuisine. The day I first stepped into this place, I was taken by the lovely ambiance, and am very fond of Tiramisu’s design and decor. The Cafe has is in the process of relocation and will be re-opening soon.

If you want to hang out with your friends at a simple yet luxuriant place, Tiramisu is your best bet. I ordered the Molten Lava Cake after my meal and was delighted by their speedy service. Though the cake is priced a bit extravagantly, the taste of than heavenly chocolate does it justice. In case its just two of you, try a single lava cake serving, its quite heavy and easily enough.

1. Hotspot Café – the best ice cream parlor ever!

I discovered this most divine of chocolate lava cakes when some friends and I popped in for dessert after a meal elsewhere.

Hotspot is more like Hard Rock Café. You’ll find the walls full of posters, some funny, some unnerving. For a foodie like me, the appetizing pictures of dripping chocolate on the menu alone convinced me to ordered the Molten Lava Cake. The delivery time was great, and the presentation looked amazing, with ice cream sitting next to the cake making a great contrast. The taste of the chocolate oozing out of the cake tasted even better when coupled with the vanilla ice cream. If you’re wondering where to go next, this place is highly recommended. Do you want to know the best part? The prices are great! You can have a good time with less than half a thousand in your pocket.
