Another special presentation coming up in August is “Researching Your Farming Ancestors” on Tuesday, August 9. Lisa Gorrell talks about the way most Americans lived until the late 19th century. She gives an introduction to land, tax, agricultural, and probate records, among the other sources available to shed light on our ancestors’ rural lives.
