Indian Institute of Iiser Pune invites applications from March 24, 2016, for admission to PhD Programme in Biology, Ecology and Evolution, Chemistry and Earth and Climate Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.

Procedure of applying:

• .IISER will accept online applications
• The candidates are required to fill and submit the online application on or before the specified date.
• Last date to apply for all disciplines is April 15, 2016
• All the application will be screened after the last date and candidates will be selected for the interview. After that the candidates will be intimated by email.
• IISER will communicate only by email.
• For any application related queries candidates are required to contact: [email protected] with their application number mentioned in the subject line.
• All those who are appearing or are about to appear for final examinations of the qualifying degree program are eligible to apply for PhD program; if selected their admission would be conditional upon their completing the qualifying degree with the defined marks criteria, before August 1, 2016.
• Selection will be based on interviews of the short listed candidates.
• There would be relaxation of eligibility criteria for SC/ST and PhD will be according to Government of India norms.
• Merely applying does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted for interview. The respective may have additional criteria (based on academic performance and/ or performance in the national level) in order to shortlist candidates for interviews depending on the number of applications received.
