The detailed notification of the Joint Entrance Examination has been released.

Seven Zonal IITs will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2016 under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2016. Admission to the Bachelor’s Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree Programmes (entry at the 10+2 level) in IITs and ISM will be dependent on the candidate’s performance in this examination. JAB will be the final authority to decide in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2016 and admission to IITs and ISM.

All Indians and foreign nations who fulfil the eligibility criteria can appear in Jee Advanced.

The exam consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper II, three hours durations each. The schedule for them would be as follows:

Paper I: May 22 (9 am to 12 pm)

Paper II: May 22 (2 pm to 5 pm)

• Registration for JEE (Advanced): April 29 to May 4
• JEE (Advanced) exam: May 22
• Online display of ORS and scanned responses: June 1 to June 4
• Date of request from candidates for review of scanned responses: June 1 to June 4
• Availability of Answer Keys online: June 5
• Date for receiving feedback and comments on answer keys from the candidates: June 5 to June 7
• Declaration of results online: June 12
• Online registration of Architecture Aptitude Test: June 12 to June 13
• Declaration of result of AAT: June 19
• Seat Allotment ( Tentative): June 20 to July 19
