Police arrested a Camarillo woman last month for multiple cases of identity theft. According to police, the woman was already awaiting trial on another identity theft charge when they arrested her.

Police say that the woman persuaded the court to move a scheduled court appearance in November to January. While on bail, she removed a credit card from a vehicle in Camarillo and used it at several local businesses. Police used video surveillance to identify the woman.

After obtaining a search warrant for the suspect’s residence, police found stolen property from at least 10 different people. The woman generally targeted unattended vehicles. Police found stolen property from one residential burglary. In addition to the stolen property, police also found illegal weapons and drugs at the woman’s residence.

Police arrested the suspect in Ventura and booked her into the Ventura County Jail. She remains jailed on a bail of $410,000, and will return to court on January 12 for matters related to the cases.
