Research Assistant / Data Entry Clerk
Busy client located in Austin, TX has an immediate need for three contractors as Research Assistant / Data Entry Clerk. This position will last approximately one to two months.
Fast Paced Environment
Research Assistant / Data Entry Clerk Role:
The Research Assistant / Data Entry Clerk is primarily responsible for heavy data entry of client information into the system as well as researching client information on the internet to ensure accurate records are obtained.
Researching customers online to verify and obtain accurate info – phone, address, website, email, etc.
Check and compare information from printed paperwork and electronic paperwork
High-volume data entry
Check for spelling errors, typos, mistakes, missing info, etc. in the records
General office/clerical duties – faxing, emailing, scanning, filing, etc.
Research Assistant / Data Entry Clerk Background Profile:
1 year of experience in an Administrative/Clerical role
High school diploma; some college is a plus
Previous experience in record retrieval is a plus
Experience with MS Office Suite and be familiar with web searches
