“Thank you for your professional service to prepare the excellent case on my behalf. Your assistance is highly appreciated.”
On April 13th, 2018, we received another EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Field of Organic Chemistry (Approval Notice).
General Field: Organic Chemistry
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Country of Origin: Nepal
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Texas
Approval Notice Date: April 13th, 2018
Processing Time: 58 Days
Merely 58 days after North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) filed an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition for a postdoctoral research associate from Nepal, the USCIS granted their approval. Our client, an expert in the field of organic chemistry, had strong credentials and was a good candidate for the national interest waiver. Even so, he needed our help to put together a Customized Niw Petition that highlighted his unique skills as a researcher.
Thanks to our extensive I-140 experience (we have helped over 10,000 clients obtain I-140 approval) and deep understanding of USCIS adjudication trends, our client is now one big step closer to a green card.
What did the customized NIW petition contain?
As part of our comprehensive services, we helped our client select a handful of expert organic chemists who could serve as credible recommenders. Once we narrowed down the list of recommenders, our client reached out to them and asked for recommendation letters. The four letters that he obtained played an important role in convincing the USCIS that he deserved to remain in the US to carry out his research. According to one of these recommenders, our client’s work “has utility in a variety of pharmaceutically relevant research efforts and provides a valuable new approach for the organic chemistry field.”
Besides letters of support, our client’s customized Niw Petition dossier contained information on the 104 times his 5 scientific articles were cited. We also included summaries of our client’s work on the design and synthesis of novel inhibitors for multidrug-resistant bacteria. Overall, we made it clear that our client’s work is of great value to the United States and that his unique skills will greatly benefit the nation.
We congratulate him for securing the national interest waiver, and we thank him for choosing us to represent his I-140 NIW petition.
