in a closed envelope with the words " Application for the post of staff Car Driver" written on top of it, so as to reach on or before 22/03/2014, positively.
INSTRUCTIONS:-
(The candidate is required to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the form).
1. 21 Staff Car Drivers (7-Ordinary Grade, 14 on contractual basis) are to be appointed / engaged in the NGT i.e. 13 in the Principal Bench and 2 each for four Zonal Benches, i.e. Southern Zone Bench at Chennai, Central Zone Bench at Bhopal, Western Zone Bench at Pune and Eastern Zone Bench at Kolkata. The number is likely to vary.
2. (i) 7 Post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) will be filled by direct recruitment in PB I ₹5200- 20200 with the grade pay of ₹1900, on regular basis.
(ii) 14 Staff Car Driver will be engaged on Contract Basis on monthly consolidated remuneration of ₹ 14,500/-. The engagement of Staff Car Drivers, on contract basis, is a stop gap arrangement and would not confer upon the drivers engaged on contract basis any right for regular appointment / or absorption in the NGT.
3. Mode of Selection will be on the basis of Driving Skill Test at a Govt. approved Institute as nominated by the NGT, and interview. The fee for the Driving Skill Test, as prescribed by the Institute, will be paid by the candidate.
4. In case of selection, the candidate will undergo driving training of one week at the same Institute, at his own cost, and would submit Driving Proficiency & Fitness Certificate at the time of joining duty in the NGT.
5. The drivers engaged on regular/ contract basis in the NGT would be liable to be posted in any of the NGT Benches and would be required to work beyond office hours and holidays, as per exigencies of the work.
6. Education and other Qualification:
· Matriculation or equivalent Qualification from a recognized Board;
· Having a valid driving licence for motor cars; and
· Experience of driving a motor car for three years or more.
Desirable:-
· Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to rectify the minor defects in vehicles)
7. Age limit 18-27 Years.
(i) Upper age limit is relaxable for Government/Court/Tribunal servant upto 40 years.
(ii)Upper age limit for Sch. Castes, Sch. Tribes, OBCs and other special categories of persons is relaxable in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government issued from time to time.

9. Incomplete, unsigned and the applications not on prescribed, Performa and received after 22/03/2014 shall be rejected summarily and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
