NEC (North Eastern Council) is inviting application from students of North Eastern States for selection of 1600 Numbers of NEC Merit Scholarship for the year 2022.
Eligibility :
1. Only the permanent residents of North Eastern States of India can apply online.
2. Family income of the student shouldn't exceed 8 Lacs in a year.
3. Students applying should not be a recipient of any other scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP VALUE
1. Diploma Level - Rs. 20,000/- per annum
2. Degree Level - Rs. 22,000/- per annum
3. PG Level - Rs. 25,000/- per annum
4. M.Phil/Ph.D Level - Rs. 30,000/- per annum
Educational Qualification:
The students who have the following qualification and criteria can apply only.
1. For Diploma Level :
Qualifying examination: HSLC/ HSSLC/ Secondary School Leaving/ Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate Examination from a recognised State/Central board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
2 For Degree Level :
Qualifying examination: HSSLC/ Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate examination from a recognised State/Central board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
3. For PG Level :
Qualifying examination: Degree level examination in any discipline (BA/BSc/BE/B Tech/MBBS/LLB/BCA/BBA etc. of any recognized Institute/ University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
4. For M.Phil/Ph.D Level :
Qualifying examination: PG degree from any recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
