Have you ever Opted to resign from a position?

Why this question is being asked: The interviewer wants to understand what makes you unhappy in a job or what would make you want to leave.

Strategy: If you have Left a job before, provide clarity as to why you left. Focus on the positives while you were there; explain what you learned and why you left to grow your career.

Sample answer: Yes. I was at my first job for 4 years. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the business. I had the opportunity to grow with my department and mentor others. During my final year there, there were many cutbacks and the workflow slowed. It seemed like a good time to take the skills that I had gained and move on.
