Decorating your Home for the Holiday Season

‘Tis the season to decorate your home! Whether you’re decking the halls, bathroom, or the kitchen, we have some Holiday decorating inspiration to help you transform your space into a winter wonderland!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa has become an all-around staple of the holiday season. Danielle from @lovesdesigns added a touch of holiday cheer to her clawfoot tub with a cheerful picture of Santa Claus, topped with his signature hat. Just imagine reclining in the double slipper clawfoot tub and watching the snow falling through the large double windows.

Farmhouse-Inspired Decor

Whether you experience chilly winds or dreadful blizzards, this rustic bathroom creates a comforting escape from the winter weather. Reclaimed wooden ladders are often used in bathrooms as décor and a place to hang towels. Instagrammar, Triple T Farm added a simple wreath to bring some holiday cheer into the bathroom. Wreaths are an easy way to add seasonal décor to any room in your home.

Holly Jolly Kitchen

If anyone knows it’s the most wonderful time of the year, it’s Becky Cunningham! She goes all out for holidays, hanging gingerbread ornaments over her kitchen island. This fun-loving play on the holiday season is the inspiration you need to complete your holiday décor. Using gingerbread men or even ornaments as a centerpiece in your kitchen is an easy and fun way to decorate your kitchen.

Vintage Farmhouse Christmas

We can never get enough of this beautiful vintage farmhouse bathroom. Homeowner and Instagrammer, Brittany Smith brings the holidays to life with simple lace curtains and a flocked wreath. Lace curtains pair perfectly with a clawfoot tub while also adding a touch of farmhouse to holiday décor. Wreaths inspired by the outdoors are perfect for a traditional bathroom.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

Are you dreaming of a snowy white holiday? An easy way to make up for a lack of snow is to create a little white space you will love! Transform your bathroom into a winter wonderland with white walls and a simple wreath. Daile Farrell inspired us with their use of a simplistic design, putting us in the holiday spirit. If you want something a bit brighter, add a few bits of tinsel to the wreath or spray on some fake snow.

Hang Up Garland

Add some nature to your kitchen by outlining the windows with evergreen garland. String white lights through the garland to brighten your kitchen during the evening. We love how Shelby from @urbangrayhome adds subtle touches of holiday cheer to her home.

No matter the holiday you celebrate, there’s always a simplistic design that can help add cheer to the festivities being celebrated in your home. From all of us at Vintage Tub & Bath, we wish you a very happy holiday and New Year! How are you decorating your home this holiday?
