#1 Pulau Ubin instawalk and Chek Jawa
A trip to Pulau Ubin is not complete without a visit to Chek Jawa. Pulau Ubin is an island off eastern Singapore with the kampong vibe and has amazing scenery many are unfamiliar about except for their school camping experience. A Pulau Ubin #instawalk was organised first in 2013 to showcase a side of Pulau Ubin many do not know about! #2 Trampoline Park
Bounce bounce bounce! Once an old school gym, Amped Trampoline Park is the first indoor trampoline park here in Singapore with almost 50 trampolines covering the floors and walls. Also, it is good to note that the trampolines are connected with blue padding as an added safety feature to ensure that visitors don’t get hurt by the frames and springs of the trampolines. #4 Sisters’ Islands Marine Park
The Sisters’ Islands Marine Park is Singapore’s very first marine park and spans 40 hectares. It is ideally visited during low tides of 0.4 meters and under, where a whole area teeming full of marine life could be seen! Guided tours are also available which are extremely helpful and allow you to learn more about the place and be on a lookout for the extensive biodiversity on the island! Other than guided tours, you can opt for a diving trail as well, where the clear waters is perfect for some snorkeling. #7 Katong Antique House
Katong Antique House is an extremely well-preserved two-storey shophouse owned by a fourth-generation Baba, Peter Wee. The shophouse contains many colourful and relevant traditions about the lives of Peranakans and its unique culture. From traditional kebayas to beaded slippers and intricately-carved wooden furniture, “there is a story behind every piece”. Mr Wee’s dedication to preserve the Peranakan culture is truly inspiring. #8 Ice Skating
Summer all year round? Try ice skating, a fantastic way to cool down. The Rink at JCube is an Olympic-size ice-skating rink surrounded by 2 levels of shops and restaurants with a viewing deck. Can’t skate? Fret not. Skating aids are available for rental. Do check out the timings for the public skating sessions or if you’d like more privacy, you can enquire and book a package with them!
