Ben Affleck will star in and direct the remake of ‘Witness for the Prosecution’ . The actor is in negotiations to bring to the screen a new version of the film , based on a story by Agatha Christie.
According to The Wrap, Affleck willproduce the film with Jennifer Todd and his close friend Matt Damon.Christopher Keyser will be in charge of the script.
‘Witness for the Prosecution’ and was adapted by Billy Wilder in 1957. The film, starring Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich and Charles Laughton , was nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture and direction.
