Buffalo Chicken Wings

Ingredients: 3 pounds whole chicken wings, patted dry. 2/3 cup of Frank’s RedHot sauce. 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted. Sunflower oil for frying.

Heat 2 inches of oil in a large skillet on medium-high until 375º. Next, fry the chicken in a pan (don’t overstuff the pan). Cook the chicken until it’s golden brown (around 8 – 10 minutes). Afterward, place cooked chicken on a plate covered in a paper towel to soak up any additional grease.

Toss the cooked chicken into a large mixing bowl with melted butter and hot sauces. But, don’t leave them in there. Use tongs to remove the wings from the sauce mixture. Plate and serve.

To use an air fryer, spray the inside of the air fryer and set it to 360º. Next, cook wings for 12 minutes then flip and cook for 12 minutes more. Finally, fip them one more time and set the air fryer for 390º. Cook for 6 minutes. When finished, pull them out and toss them in the sauce.

Bacon Cheeseball

Ingredients: 2 packages of cream cheese. 1 tablespoon of sour cream. 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. 1 package of cooked, chopped bacon. 1 package of ranch dressing seasoning.

First, place the cream cheese into a mixing bowl. Add 1 cup of shredded cheese, ranch dressing packet, and sour cream and mix. Add chopped bacon and stir half into the cheese mixture.

Finally, shape the cheese mixture into a ball and roll it over the remaining bacon bits. Add the remaining cup of cheese to the surface of the cheese ball and cover evenly. Place in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for 30 mins – 1 hour to set.

You can also serve this with vegetables, crackers, or simply eaten with a spoon. It’s that good.

Super Bowl 7 Layer Party Dip

Ingredients: 1¼ cups salsa, 16 ounces canned refried beans, 2 tablespoons milk, 8 ounces cream cheese softened, ½ cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons taco seasoning, 1 cup guacamole prepared, 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, ½ cup black olives or tomatoes, 4 sliced green onions.

Drain extra liquid from the salsa and the refried beans. Next, add the milk to the beans until smooth and spread the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 pan.

Add the taco seasoning and the sour cream to the cream cheese in a bowl with a mixer set to medium. Then, spread the mixture on top of the beans. After, spoon out the guacamole and carefully spread it with a spatula. Finally, do the same with the salsa.

Cover the top with cheese, green onions, olives, and tomato. Then, you can place it in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour. Once ready, serve with chips.

Pigs in a Blanket

This is a super simple recipe for those who don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Ingredients: 1 can of refrigerated Crescent Dough. 24 mini franks. Spicy brown mustard.

Preheat your oven to 375º. Next, unroll the dough and cut it into 8 triangles. Then, spread a small layer of mustard on one side. Next, add the mini franks to the short side of the triangle and simply roll to the longest side. Be sure to cook them on parchment paper for 15 minutes with the point side facing down. Keep in mind, they’ll look golden brown when they’re ready. But, be careful not to overcook them.

Beer Cheese Dip

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. butter. 1/2 small onion, coarsely grated. 1/4 c. all-purpose flour. 1/2 c. whole milk. 1 bottle (12 oz.) pale ale. 4 oz. cream cheese, at room temp. 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard. 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce. 1/2 tsp. hot sauce (such as Tabasco). 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, coarsely grated.

This is a great vegetarian option that tastes delicious with soft pretzels. To start, melt butter in a large saucepan on medium heat. Next, add the onion and cook for another 4 – 5 minutes. Afterward, add in the flour and cook for another minute while stirring.

Whisk in the milk and beer and then simmer the mixture for 5 – 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the sauce has thickened, add the mustard, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Finally, stir until everything is smooth.

Reduce the heat to medium-low. Next, add in the cheese in three waves. You want to stir in the cheese and make sure it’s melted before adding more. And that’s it. Serve warm and watch it disappear.
