KLCI breaks past 1,750 but Rohas Tecnic falls

KUALA LUMPUR: Sustained store purchasing of banks saw the FBM KLCI scaling past the essential 1,750 level in late Friday morning exchange while Rohas Tecnic tumbled on its first exchanging day after it assumed control Tecnic Group. 

The KLCI was up 13.89 focuses at 1,751.03. Turnover was 1.25 billion shares esteemed at RM817.19mil. There were 459 gainers, 276 washouts and 334 counters unaltered. 

Banks drove the gainers list as examiners expect managed income development. Open Bank added 24 sen to RM20.12, Maybank 13 Sen Higher at RM8.90 and CIMB 13 sen higher at RM5.72. 

Nonetheless, Rohas fell strongly, down 23 sen to 89 sen with 3.75 million shares after its paid-up had expanded pointedly from 40 million shares to 400 million shares taking after the takeover by Rohas-Euco Holdings Sdn Bhd. 

Rohas-Euco is an exclusive element controlled by Tan Sri Wan Azmi Wan Hamzah, his significant other Puan Sri Nik Anida Nik Manshor, George Sia Bun Chun and his better half Chan Liew Hoon.
