Build the Business Case for Third-Party Support

A Guide for Procurement and Sourcing Professionalsthird-party support

December 9, 2015 | Lee Mashburn | Vice President, Marketing

Spinnaker Support recently sponsored and exhibited at two Gartner IT Asset Management conferences in the US and UK. Our booth was heavily visited by procurement and sourcing professionals seeking to learn more about our third-party support offerings for their Oracle and SAP software solutions. Many had already performed some level of due diligence and came with an appreciation for our straightforward value proposition: safe, effective ongoing support for a fraction of the cost.

During numerous conversations, a familiar set of questions surfaced. How can we, as procurement professionals, build a fair and balanced comparison (and business case) of third-party support versus software publisher support? How do we overcome obstacles presented by our IT colleagues (often fueled by SAP and Oracle)? How do we best distinguish between truth and myth?

In order to address these frequently asked questions, Spinnaker Support has developed a detailed white paper that helps procurement professionals navigate their way to an effective comparative analysis. The infographic to the right illustrates the key points. Needless to say, we are getting positive feedback from grateful procurement experts who simply want to help their organizations make great business decisions!
