We are officially mid way through winter and although we haven’t seen much snow lately, there are still a bunch of upcoming North Tahoe events taking place in February and March. Most notably, SNOWFEST is celebrating its 40th year and will be hosting iconic events all over the region. Take a look at our highlighted events for February and March!  

Kid-O-Rama

Where: Palisades Tahoe
When: February 19 – 26
A week-long extravaganza of skiing, riding & activities your kids will love! Kid-O-Rama is back with endless entertainment at Palisades Tahoe this February! Get ready for a week-long lineup filled with Big Truck Day, carnival games, S’mores parties, Crazy Helmet Day, face painting, and MORE this February 19-26!  More Information

Double the Love, Double the Fun!

Where: Palisades Tahoe
When: February 22nd
Double the Love, Double the Fun is for couples ready to get married or those wanting to renew their vows with iconic views of Palisades Tahoe and The Sierras, with a light reception to follow. This collective elopement event is a shared wedding ceremony experience at Gold Coast where all couples will be participating in one united, non-denominational ceremony and will last approximately 30 minutes. North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST!

Where: North Lake Tahoe
When: Feb 25 – March 6
Celebrate 40 Years of North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST with 10 days of events from February 25th – March 6th, 2022. Enjoy a long list of exciting events including parades, fireworks, luaus, snow sculpture contests and so much more! More Information

Winter Beach Party

Where: Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort
When: March 12th
Tahoe Donner is bringing the beach to the mountains! Enjoy their sunny deck and enjoy tropical drinks, food, a limbo contest, children’s activities and live music from the Buddy Emmer Band. More Information

Pain McShlonkey Classic

Where:Palisades Tahoe
When: March 26th
Dress up in your most outrageous ski duds and come out to Palisades Tahoe for a day full of belly laughs, camaraderie and philanthropy in celebration of legendary skier Shane McConkey. International Snowblade Day is a way for Shane fans around the world to get involved in this irreverently hilarious day. More Information

The Mothership Classic

Where:Palisades Tahoe
When: March 27th
The Mothership Classic returns for a first-to-last chair fundraiser on KT-22! The Mothership Classic is a pledge driven event held each Spring on the worlds greatest chairlift, KT-22. Participants begin by gathering pledges like a NASCAR racer chasing sponsorships. On the day of the event, each participant will challenge themselves to hot lap KT-22 as many times as possible from first chair to last on skinny skis, retro snowboards, mono skis, snow blades, etc. Nostalgic ski attire is encouraged.
