The holidays are here bringing festive events throughout North Tahoe and Truckee. From holiday caroling to thrilling disco tubing, there is something for everyone this season. Below is our list of the top North Tahoe holiday events!

Tahoe Food Hub’s Holiday Block Party

Where: Truckee Airport’s Non-Profit Row | 12116 Chandelle Way
When: Thursday, December 9th 4pm-8pm
Celebrate the holidays with local farmers and makers! Enjoy music, food, and drink while getting to buy organic produce, specialty foods and local crafts. Meet the folks who grow our food and make the goods. Bounce between the Tahoe Food Hub, Sierra Community House and Truckee Roundhouse for a non-profit open house. More Information

Where: The Village at Northstar Ice Skating Rink
When: Every Friday, December 3rd – 17th
Head to Northstar to enjoy a taste of the holidays! Enjoy free live music, photos with Santa, a Letters to Santa location, face painting and balloon animals. After the holiday festivities, grab some skates and enjoy some ice skating in the Village!

Where: SnoVentures at Palisades Tahoe
When: December 18th, 26th – 31st
Looking for some evening thrills during the holidays? Head to Palisades Tahoe and enjoy colorful LED lights, lasers and live DJs from 5-8pm. Disco tubing is fun for the whole family! Tickets are only available online and reservations are required! More Information

Holiday Movie Skate Night

Where: The Village at Northstar
When: December 24th, 25th & 31st | 6pm – 8pm
Head to the Village at Northstar and enjoy family friendly holiday movies while on the ice rink! The movie will show from the main stage at the Village Skating Rink. Feature holiday films include: The Grinch, The Polar Express and Trolls – World Tour!

Tahoe Nutcracker

Where: North Tahoe High School
When: December 17th, 18th & 19th
The Lake Tahoe Dance Collective proudly presents the Tahoe Nutcracker! This holiday classic is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Special guest stars include Allison Walsh (Joffrey Ballet, Star of Broadway’s ‘An American in Paris’) and Stephen Hanna (Formerly New Your City Ballet). More Information 

Christmas Party with Pipe Down Sound

Where: Moe’s Original BBQ | Tahoe City
When: December 23rd | 9pm

Ski with Santa at Tahoe Donner

Where: Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort
