Mr. Alok Mohan is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of 1987 Batch of the Karnataka Cadre. He is presently serving as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) accountable for Law and Order for the territory of Karnataka and heads the law requirement hardware for the Karnataka State Police. He has over 30 years of Senior Management involvement with the State, National and International Levels.

Mr. Alok Mohan by and by as the Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order for the Karnataka State Police heads the law requirement hardware for the State since 31st July, 2015. He is incharge of the everyday policing in the state and regulates working of 31 District Superintendents of Police, 7 Range IGPs and Police Commissioners of Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli-Dharwad and Belgaum urban communities. The aggregate police power of Karnataka State Police is more than 100 thousand and serves a populace of around 60 millions.
