Mr. Alok Mohan is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of 1987 Batch of the Karnataka Cadre. He is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) charge of Law and Order as the Karnataka State Police and heads the law enforcement apparatus for the Karnataka State Police. He has over 30 years of Senior Management involvement with the State, National and International Levels.
He is had many Awards & Achievements in his service to Karnataka State. He is a beneficiary of the lofty President of India Police Medals for Distinguished Services and in addition for Meritorious Services. He has additionally been granted with the renowned United Nations Medal while filling in as a Commander for the International Police Task Force (IPTF) in the United Nations Peace Keeping Operations in the Bosnia– Herzgovina.
He holds three Masters Degrees and is a graduated class of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA, Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) School of Public Policy, Singapore University, Singapore, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.
