Another Windy day in paradise. While windy days put a kink into my paddleboarding routine I usually enjoy them. But this has been crazy.

I’ve been an iPhone user since the first model was released and have upgraded far too many times. iOS is fantastic but Android is also a fantastic operating system. So, my eyes have been wandering. Right now I am testing Samsung’s latest and greatest, the S20 Ultra. It is Samsung’s answer to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The camera specs are crazy. I won’t go into the details as there are tons of reviews online that go into great detail. But check out the four photos I took from the same location. The first is with no Zoom followed by 5x zoom, 10x zoom, and 30x zoom. Again I will leave it to the pro reviews to explain optical zoom, hybrid optic zoom, and digital zoom. The 30x zoom I have had mixed results and sometimes the focus on a object is pretty good. In this photo the 30x almost makes the homes look I a painting but that is mostly my fault as for 30x zoom or greater a tripod is advised. The 10x zoom photo is pretty impressive. The red and blue homes are more than 1/2 mile away.
