The Landlord Law Conference is a friendly place. As well as the speakers and other delegates, you also get the chance to chat with exhibitors in our small but perfectly formed conference exhibition.
Let’s take a look at them.
TDS – Our Lead Sponsors
The lead exhibitor is as always, TDS.
The oldest of the three tenancy deposit schemes and the only one which is a not for profit, the TDS staff will be there to help with any deposit related issues you may have.
Mike Morgan, their head of Dispute Resolution will also be one of the speakers.
Arla have also been at all of our Conferences and we are grateful to them for their support.
As you will know, Aral is the main membership body for letting agents and has recently had its own highly successful conference. They are there to help and advise agents, plus their CEO, David Cox, is one of our speakers.
Anthony Gold Solicitors
Anthony Gold have, in my opinion, one of the best legal departments for housing law. They regularly represent both landlords and tenants in landmark cases and advise the government on housing issues.
David Smith, one of their partners is a regular speaker at the Conference and this year will be giving talks on ‘Rent to Rent’ and HMOs.
Aston Shaw Accountants
Many landlords will be worried about tax issues, and the Conference is a great chance to talk to our next exhibitors, local accountants Aston Shaw.
Philip Hunt, one of their tax consultants, will be giving our first evert tax talk – he will be there all day so you will be able to follow up on any questions you may have at the Aston Shaw exhibitors table.
The Royal Bank of Scotland
A new exhibitor to Conference, the RBS is a major bank and a great chance for delegates to discuss banking and finance issues with a leading organisation.
The Property Redress Scheme
All letting agents need to belong to a redress scheme and PRS is one of the three authorised schemes – and the most cost-effective.

Providing one of the best insurance products for landlords, Alan Boswell are based locally but provide a national service.
For example, take a look at the free mini-course I developed with their help.
Damp and condensation are two of the most problematic issues landlords have with renting property – but Envirovent have the answer!
Their team will be there to explain their award-winning ventilation products – take a look at six reasons why they may be good for your properties.
Residential Landlord Association
We are pleased to confirm that the RLA will once again be back, to help advise delegates on all landlord related issues, and also to support their Director of Policy, David Smith, who is one of our speakers!
Eastern Landlords Association
This year we have not one but TWO landlord associations! We are delighted to welcome the Eastern Landlord Association, the regions local landlord association to Conference.
Total Landlord Insurance
A regular Conference Exhibitor, Total Landlord Insurance from Hamilton Fraser are another excellent choice for landlords wanting decent insurance cover. They also offer emergency cover, tenant referencing and rent guarantee products.
Last but most definitely not least, NW FInance are back again to help conference delegates looking to buy property find the best deal.
They will be attending with their business partners Castle Trust.
The Conference will also be a chance for you to find out a bit more about my Landlord Law service – my assistant Tina and myself will be there to demonstrate the site and tell you a bit about the exciting new projects we have in store for later in the year.
