Cheboksary Marks ‘Russia Day’ with Thirteen LOTOS 105 CNG Buses

On the eve of Russia Day (June 12), 13 units of Russian-made city bus model LOTOS 105 were handed over in Cheboksary, a city in western Russia on the Volga River. The reception and commissioning of the new passenger Buses took place as part of the Day of Russia celebration in the capital of the Chuvash Republic.

The bus was created by the company RMZ Raritek LLC (part of the RariTEK Group of Companies) based on the Foton machine and is fully assembled in Tatarstan, in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

LOTOS 105 buses meet the highest requirements for safety, comfort and environmental friendliness. As a fuel for mobiliy, natural gas virtually eliminates harmful emissions and the cost of fuel and oil is significantly reduced.

Buses are low-floor and adapted for transportation of low mobility groups of citizens. They have a folding ramp and special places for priority landing.

Today, buses manufactured by RMZ RariTEK (included in the RariTEK Group of Companies) are successfully used on passenger routes in such Russian cities as Cheboksary, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kokshetau (Republic of Kazakhstan), Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Crimea, Chelyabinsk, Ryazan, Balashikha , Khimki, Nadym, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
