We are looking for “WIMAX Site Acceptance Engineer” for a fulltime opening with our client’s office in Oman. Client is leading GSM Telecom Operator in Oman.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities
• Plan, inspect and approve WIMAX sites.
• Maintain and develop the quality aspects of the company’s various network installations, according to good engineering standards and parameters, checking all external installations and its interfaces.
• Responsible for the complete management, including follow up of the Outstanding Item List for all sites.
Span of Control
• Maintain and develop existing and new relationship with the main vendors and installation teams.
• Plan and carry out direct inspections on all installed equipment and ancillary systems that allow the correct operation of the radio network
• Maintain and develop a computerized log of all activities performed in the company’s network installations.
• Maintain and report on equipment installation problems to all needed levels.
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
• Act as a liaison with inspection teams and the higher management, providing information and solutions to problems that may arise in the installation process
• Liaise and attend meetings with other company areas necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
• Develop ideas and create standards in order to fill any existing gaps in the installation parameters
Qualifications & Experience
• BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in radio engineering.
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.

• Self-driven, result-oriented, with a positive approach and a clear focus on high quality.
• Well organized and methodical mindset.
• Reliable, tolerant and determined.
• Sufficiently mobile and flexible to frequent travel activity within the country.
