PURPOSE OF POSITION: A front office clerk's main objective is to ensure guest, owner and employee satisfaction at the front desk by fulfilling the Deer Valley Difference. We provide customers with unparalleled attention to detail and a genuine pledge to service excellence.

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS:

  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
  • Present a clean DMV record and be able to drive company and owner vehicles in all weather conditions
  • Be able to lift, carry and distribute packages and luggage, property-wide, up to 50 lbs.
  • Provide excellent customer service with extreme attention to detail and follow through
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Be available for occasional last minute transportation or other business needs
  • Computer literate. Candidate must be willing to learn and able to execute all property management software and systems taught during training. The candidate must be competent with common household audio and visual equipment (routers, modems, cable connectors, etc.)
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle money
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with other departments to ensure a spirit of cooperation and partnership
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities of the Front Desk, including, but not limited to: delivering firewood, carrying luggage and packages, answering and transferring phone calls, scheduling guest activities, creating guest itineraries, driving company and owner vehicles, inspecting houses and assisting guests and owners with their requests
  • Ensure guest, owner and employee satisfaction with a positive attitude, thorough communication and follow through
  • Demonstrate proactive guest, owner and employee problem resolution with urgency, respect and empathy
  • Be able to gauge the severity of issues and weigh options in a professional manner
  • Create and distribute updated schedules of recreational activities, local events, restaurant hours, etc.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and well-supplied work space
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
