Line Cook will assist in heavy production and preparation of food for hotel restaurant and banquets including employee cafeteria.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

Production and preparation of food products daily for the Restaurants, Banquets and Employee Dining Room Maintaining a high level of sanitation and safety in the Kitchen prep areas. Communicating daily with Executive Chef & Sous Chef for job assignments. Assisting the Chef with Banquet and/or Conference food presentation for dining areas. Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel. Review BEO's and menus daily for food preparation and execute accordingly. Ensure quality food presentation and preparation.

Qualification & Requirements:

Must have a minimum 6 months of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant. High school diploma or equivalent experience/training required. Culinary certification or degree preferred. Serve-Safe certified preferred. Demonstrated knife skills. Ability to operate kitchen power equipment. Ability to utilize cutting instruments. Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 40 lbs. (NOTE: kitchen equipment and food & non-food items). Excellent communication skills. Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Must be available to work varied shifts based on business levels, including weekends & holidays.
