WRAP Certification levels

​Having a Wrap Certification helps an organization to show potential concern about the ethical and responsible business dedicated to the standards. It also demonstrates that your organization obeys all the rules and regulations of the law by treating your workers with responsibilities, dignity, and even caution about the impact of the operations on the environment.

The WRAP Certification has 3 levels of Certification to monitor the assessment of the business to which the audit indicates full compliance and management commitment to the WRAP Principles as required.

LEVEL 1- PLATINUM (Valid for 2 years)

Platinum WRAP Certifications rewards the factory to ensure that the organization has demonstrated full compliance with 12 WRAP Principles for a validity of 2 years. Platinum facilities must strongly pass every audit with no corrective action plans (CAP) or observations and maintain a continuous certification process to facilitate continuous compliance with the Regulations of the Standard with no gaps between certification periods.


LEVEL 2- GOLD (Valid for 1 year)

Facilitates to issue that factories comply with WRAP certified guidelines; production is awarded to demonstrate principles of the standard during the first or subsequent inspections of an audit. This certificate is valid from the date of issue of the certificate, not from the date of inspection.


LEVEL 3- SILVER (Valid for 6 months)

WRAP may issue or facilitate Silver Certification to an organization if an audit finds only the need with sustainable compliance of WRAP Principles if only identifies least or minor non-compliances in policies and procedures. These can be solved with adequate training for the employees of an organization. There must not be any non-compliance (including child labor; serious health, safety, or environmental issues; forced or bonded labor, or harassment or abuse of employees at the workplace) and must demonstrate with a proper and safe working environment to employees. WRAP certified organization ensures that the employees achieve at least minimum wages, premiums of overtime as prescribed by the law.


Organizations must request in writing seeking Silver certificates from WRAP’s headquarters, submitting a corrective action plan (CAP) that involves any proof of rectifying along with the request. If a facility has demonstrated difficulty in achieving full compliance or has other risk factors, the WRAP Review Board may also recommend a Silver certificate that may prevent it from sustaining compliance for the full duration of a Gold certificate.
