A Fall in Cargo Handling

The Shipping Companies have been majorly affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of unusual changes and shutting of the factories have affected manufacturers, wholesalers, traders, suppliers, etc. due to which there has been a huge disruption in demand and the sale chain of the products in the market. Due to all these inferences, the logistic service sector has been facing extreme losses.

India’s primary ports and airlines are grieving a fall in Cargo Handling. Transporting goods and commodities globally have come to a standstill. According to the survey, there were 1,30,000 estimated number of containers stuck at Container Freight stations, majorly at JNPT and Chennai Port. However, some of the shipping companies were allowed to ship their products without imposing any additional charges to clear the backlog.

Even for domestic transportation of products through road and rail have taken a halt as millions of truck drivers are stuck due to the restrictions imposed on inter-states movement. The loading and unloading of products are impossible as there is no manpower available.

The ports are witnessing 50-60% of capacity reduction whereas the air cargo flights are witnessing 70-80% of capacity reduction.

However, now that things are getting normal, commercial life has resumed, some of the public transports including road, port terminals, few domestic flights have started operating, the logistic service might see a rise. Yet there are chances to still get impacted as the transportation sectors are running short of laborers, drivers, etc.

It’s been a quite long time now that even Beldara, a B2B marketplace, has successfully cleared the shipment that was in the backlog due to lockdown. The efficient BeldaraOcean and BeldaraExpress have helped in delivering the products to their customers.

Beldara road logistic service has helped a lot of manufacturers and suppliers in such a tough time and continues to support the existing and new manufacturers and buyers in the shipment process. Beldara has constantly tried to bring improvement in cargo operations affected due to the pandemic.

Beldara logistics makes sure the products are delivered to their customers on time, easily tracked, manage air freight and carrier paperwork, deliver products at their door-step with complete safety, and at an affordable price.

Beldara believes in supporting and promoting our Indian manufacturers as the domestic market is now less affected hence it will reduce the chaos and restrictions involved in shipping via air or sea. So referring beldara and buying products from Indian Manufacturers will be a better option.

I am sure with time everything will start working with ease and the shipping schedule will soon start functioning normally. Till then Stay Home, Stay Safe, and run your business on beldara without worrying about the logistic hussle.
