Drug abuse has various side effects to campus students, some of these effects include:

1)poor academic performance whereby one is unable to keep up with their studies and school work, drug usage causes laziness which could Lead to skipping of classes and one may miss exams which will definitely lead to poor academic performance

2)depression and anxiety..most Drugs have depression and anxiety as side effects which often lead to emotional trauma making it hard for a student to cope up with the learning process in school

3)Addiction..many students are trapped with the frequent usage of drugs till it reaches a point that they can not do without them, this dependance on drugs makes them vulnerable
