Ligitigation is the most popular and familiar type of resolution in Lithuania as well as abroad. It involves facing the claimant before the competetive judge alone or together with a jury. The role taken by judge and jury is to weight and consider evidence and finally deciding and making a ruling. Lawyers dominate in the ligitigation and so resolutions often ends in agreement.

Arbitration

On the contrary from the ligitigation, arbitration features a third party that is responsible for dispute resolution in country Lithuania as well as in foreign continents. The person, arbitrator, hears out each side of the argumenting parties and listens for evidence. After all this, arbitrators render a binding decision.

The final one, mediation

Mediations is a bit similar to arbitration form the point of view that it also has a third party joining the dispute resolution. However, it does not render a binding decision, but helps both parties to come to a consensus on their own. A real professional mediator helps the conflicting sides to underly their positions.
