Heba Ali: A real-life Wonderwoman

This incredible girl is a fitness influence and personal trainer of Heba Ali, who specializes in Hybrid Training, a combination of bodybuilding and strength training that covers all aspects of the ideal workout. She began to train when a funny hobby turned into a rescue form of therapy.

Heba travels to different places and likes to exercise outdoors, using what is around her like her gym, and mixes up her training exercises. Her favorite form of cardio is HIIT (high-intensity interval training).

We met Heba Ali on a sunny morning before her daily training. Here is the interview:

How did you start out bodybuilding?

Heba Ali: What started as a fun hobby turned into a rescue form of therapy. At a young age, I discovered the mental and physical benefits of learning. I realized that working out was a pleasure, not a punishment. At each workout, I focused on completely getting rid of the physical output of my movements. I cried, I laughed, I cried, but most importantly, I left stronger than when I started. Working out has become my chance to shut out the world and focus on myself and how strong I can be.

How are you so motivated?

Heba Ali: When I opened these effective channels to release all negative energy through training, I first felt strong in my life. After several years growing stronger inside and out, I became empowered by every problem that I encountered. Each problem gave me a chance to challenge my strength and ability to overcome barriers. I feel so strongly that fitness has changed my life, that I want to do the same for everyone else. I want to share it with as many people as possible and help them change their lives. I want to change the reputation of fitness: Working out is not punishment, it’s fun.

How do you train?

Heba Ali: I have specialized in Hybrid Training for the last few years, this form of training covers all styles from lifting to isolation exercises, balance, mobility and speed. Unlike standard exercises in the gym, hybrid training keeps my body guessing, wondering what will happen next.

If you had to choose only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

  • Heavy lifting: as the king of bodybuilding exercises, lifting will help increase strength and size more than any other exercise, and involves every muscle in the human body.
  • Sprints: high-intensity intervals are most effective in improving endurance without sacrificing the hard earned mass.
  • Power Cleanse: they improve several athletic attributes: speed, coordination, balance and duration – this is useful for all athletes, regardless of what kind of sport they play.

What is your favorite form of cardio?

HIIT (high-intensity interval training)

What is your diet?

Heba Ali: Flexible: it changes from season to season. Of course, I eat more in winter. I always have protein in every meal. Carbohydrates and fats change, I listen to my body and feed it according to how I feel on a daily basis.

What is your biggest achievement in the fitness industry?

Heba Ali: Creating my company and having a positive impact on thousands of lives. I taught women around the world how to regain confidence and control their lives, using fitness as their tool. I also had an effect on men, but overall more with women.
