I'm looking for a Macbook and Digital audio workstation/system to record piano and acoustic guitar for a folk album, and throw a few simple, lo-fi beats on some original songs that would be sufficient for a professional grade demo. Nothing super EDM.

Can anyone recommend tech specs for Macbook that can handle the job, as well as an interface and DAW that won't add any noise or buzz? In the past the I've gotten Macbooks for this but could never add reverb without straining the processor. Looking for something sufficient to add effects but with a clean sound.
