They’re here! I’ve been quiet on the blog – its’s been a month since my last blog post – and that’s because one, I moved (more details on my new home sewing space coming soon) and two, I’ve been hustling to restock and provide new Madalynne DIY lingerie sewing kits. Oh, and I have a Mother’s Day event this Sunday and a bra making workshop next Saturday. Oi vey – lots going on! All good in the hood though. To kick off this weekend, over 100 new kits are now available! Before I get to the new assortment…

UPDATES, REMINDERS + ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

1. New kits have been added for the Sierra wrap bralette and Barrett bralette (both FREE PDF patterns you can download here) and the Madalynne X Simplicity 8228. The Madalynne X Simplicity 8436/8624/8229 kit has been restocked as well as Barrett kits from the first launch.

2. I’ve increased all elastic quantities for the Barrett bralette kits by 1/2 YD and kept the price the same. From reviews, like this one from Allie Jackson, I read that sewists had enough fabric to make a second bralette (depending on the size they made), but not enough elastic. Fixed!

3. The Barrett Bralette can be made for bigger busts! Read this blog post which features a round up of Barrett bralettes as well as tips for tips for altering for bigger busts (ahem – 32G!)

4. I’ve sourced a better demi underwires for the 8624 and 8436 and have created a chart that will make it super easy to find the correct size underwire for the size you intend to sew.

5. Shipping has gone up slightly ($1-2), depending on where you live of course. International shipping is still available – BTW. Shipping rates have gone up and it cost more to ship the second batch. I hope to make up for this by adding slightly more to each kit – extra elastic and The Laundress Delicate Wash packet – both of which are not enough to effect the shipping cost for each order.
