3 Fixes For Very Common iPhone Problems

It’s frustrating when you purchase a new iPhone and you start running into problems. Or maybe you’ve convinced Apple is deliberately slowing down your phone to get a new one. Usually, when we run into problems we might think we need a brand-new phone and our newly purchased smartphone is unrecoverable.
This is usually wrong. Sure, there are cases where you will need to completely get your iPhone repaired, however, it’s usually just minor problems that can be fixed with little effort. One of the worst things one can do is attempt to fix the problem themselves and make the situation worse. Therefore, as a mobile phone repair shop, we encourage people to first think wisely about what they need to do to fix a problem. Often the best choice is getting a professional too fix your iPhone. In this post, we will discuss common iPhone 8 problems and what to do about them.

Slow Phone Syndrome

Why is my screen lagging and why are apps working so slow? Is my phone drunk? If this is the case, your iPhone is most likely running out of storage. The best way to fix this is to go into Settings > General > Usage and here you will get a run down of how much storage is left on your phone and which are apps are overstaying their welcome. Apps can easily be deleted by holding down on the application on your home screen and pressing delete.
If you have never looked at your storage settings, you will be probably be in for a shock once you found out what is hiding in there. Usually, what’s taking up space are applications you would never expect so make sure to always keep an eye on your Usage and get rid of the applications you don’t need.

Wireless Connection is failing

Sometimes your iPhone may be working fine, but your wireless connection is down. ‘Safari cannot open the page because your iPhone is not connected to the internet’ is a common message all us iPhone users have seen. Here are two ways to fix your wireless connection: First, try turning on aeroplane mode for thirty seconds and give your connection a quick break. All you have to do is swipe on from the bottom on your home screen and tap the aeroplane button. If you iPhone is still not connecting after you have switched aeroplane mode on and off, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Once this is done, you will have to enter your WiFi password and login to reconnect.

iPhone Freezes

A frozen screen can be the result of several problems. There have been reports on this indicating that the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus becomes unresponsive and freezes on the lock or the home screen. Usually, the hardware and buttons still function but the screen remains frozen and unresponsive. How to fix this? Usually a reboot get’s the job done. If a reboot doesn’t work, it’s time to evoke the iPhone nerve pinch.
Here’s what to do: Hold down the sleep button and the home button at the same time until the iPhone reset, and you see the Apple logo. Your lock screen should appear after this and you should be able to now work your iPhone again. Thanks for reading our blog to 3 fixes for very common iPhone problems.
