What You Need To Know About Online Bidding

Everybody wants to win a car for the lowest price. To do that, you must edge out the competition and place your bid at the best time. Here are some tips on the different phases of the Bidding process so you can decide when the time is right for you.

Preliminary Bidding
This stage consists of the days and hours leading up to the live auction of the vehicle. Starting from when the vehicle is listed on our website, until one hour before the live auction is set to begin, you can place your bids. Once the preliminary bidding process closes your bid will carry over into the Live Auction itself. The benefit of Preliminary Bidding is to see how serious the competition is. This can help you gage what maximum bid you are willing to place during the Live Auction.

Live Auction
Once Preliminary Bidding closes, the item will move into the Live Auction. You need to be fully prepared in advance because Live Auctions last about one minute or less.

All our vehicles are listed in different Lanes. Look for the Item # when you are watching the Live Auction so you will know when your item will be on the Auction Block. Once it hits the Auction Block you will be able to bid in real time against other competitors. It’s a fast-paced process, so ensure you have a large enough deposit ready for any bid you make. Stay on your toes so you can act fast. That’s how you save money!

Buy It Now
An item listed as But It Now means it can be bought for the exact price listed; no auction is needed. If the Buy It Now price looks good to you, just click it. You’ll be awarded the vehicle outright. If nobody chooses the Buy It Now option, the vehicle will run through the standard auction process and maybe sell for less, maybe more.

Armed with this information you are now ready to take on the auction process, and find the bidding style right for you! Register now to start bidding at
