The Bombay (Mumbai) Stock Exchange (BSE) is open five days per week for six hours per day and remains closed for eleven holidays per year.Exchanges at times close on a multiple days for a single Holiday or have modified hours instead of fully closing.

Many a times the Stock Exchange Market is closed on a different day than the day of the official holiday which usually happens if a holiday falls on a non-business day.

Also many a times the stock exchange market has special working hours due to a holiday rather than a full holiday.
