Travel Time: Water Rafting in Cagayan de Oro

We flew to Cagayan de Oro to stay for 3Days 3Nights. Our main purpose was the Dahilayan Adventure Park, then few days before the trip, I Booked an adventure trip of doing water rafting.
Calvin and I both do not have any knowledge and has no experience rafting. I had contacted a number of companies that could provide us services, however only Kagay responded very well and seem to have a reasonable price. For Php 700.00/person, we had booked a beginner's level with 14 rapids in the morning.

Since we stayed at Golden Stallion Hotel, which is the farthest from the other guests who had booked on the same day, we were picked up at 6:30AM. Exactly they arrived at that time, and picked up the other couple and groups of people.

After a long ride, we arrived in our destination, the starting point for rafting.

For those who have no waterproof bags, there are stalls that sells them in a reasonable price. They also sell swim wears, food, snacks, and drinks.

After preparing everything, we get to have our life vests, helmets and were gathered for a briefing about the Do's and Don'ts when we fall in the river, and other instructions during the ride.
I kept looking and thinking about the raft, it does not have any seat belt nor any place to  hold myself into so I was starting to feel scared about my safety. What if questions came to mind, and I prayed I will be safe.
Our water bottle stayed cool and with us until the end of the ride.

We can lock our feet with the place we were sitting and hold on the handle.

Well, the ride was fun, it is sometimes scary when we go down and covered with water because I thought we might sink. But we did not.

There were chances when we were able to jump out of the river and swim since the current was low.

Abandon ship.

We have to be careful of some lines too, some people cross while holding them and others are building small bridges to cross.

After the ride, they also sell some souvenirs that cost Php 50.00/piece or higher depending on the design and size. They also sent us back to our hotels and informed us that if we want a copy of our photos from them, we can get it from their office and it cost Php 500.00 for the CD with all the photos together with the other people in the group.

These are the photos they took.

P.S. Do not wear white or light colored clothes, if you do, wash it immediately because the color will change into brown. Which happened to me.
