Hey guys! Let's talk about Food again. Well, lots of gatherings and events are around the corner: Chinese Lunar New Year, Valentine's day, Birthdays, Wedding, and other occasions and I do suggest visiting this place.

Wakamatsu Yakiniku

- Obviously it is a Japanese Restaurant, for what it means, I have no idea.

This is one of my favorite buffet restaurants of all time. Why? Because the amount I'm paying is just right for the food and service I got.
Wakamatsu Yakiniku is just a couple meters away from Ayala Business Park, Castle Peak Hotel, Sarrosa Hotel, CitiPark, Cityscape, Alpa City Suites, PLDT, Carmelite's Monastery, San Carlos Seminary, Crown 7, etc. It is in the heart of a bustling city but safe from traffic.
I swear, I've been there for like.. 1..2.. three times! Well, I prefer eating lunch there and if it isn't a fast food chain, I mostly visit a restaurant once... except for another which I have visited thrice as well but I haven't mentioned it here.

So, Wakamatsu is open for lunch from 11am to 2pm and another for dinner at around 5 to 6pm, I'm not sure. The price for lunch for adults is Php 530.00 and kids is around Php 265.00 while it is more expensive during dinner.

I love how secluded Wakamatsu is. How people could eat, talk, and just enjoy everything privately. I love the food! Of course, but I love the servers more. They are so hospitable, and so refreshing to see them smile unlike other restaurants which is more known. I've heard from my Japanese friends that this store also exists in Japan, but I have not confirmed if it is a branch here in Cebu, if any of you can confirm, tell me. Okay?

Once you come in, you are greeted with "irashaimase" or "welcome" and when you ask for a table for 5 to 6, you are guided to a Japanese looking traditional dining table and for single to three pax, to a modern table. But when you are lucky and no customer was able to book the traditional table, and you are at least 4 of you, then maybe, just "maybe" ask to sit at the traditional one.

 This is the kind of restaurant/food wherein you are not in a hurry, everything is just taking place in it's own time. You can talk and chitchat with your friends, family, colleagues, and whoever is with you. Some gadgets are set aside for a more intimate and personal talk with the person beside or across you.
