The Sustainable Waterloo Region (SWR) 8th Annual Evening of Recognition Celebrating Sustainability will take place Thursday, April 27th, 2017 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Maxwell's 35 University Avenue East, Waterloo, Ontario. SWR will release their 2016 Year End Report and present this year’s awards. The evening will also feature opportunities to hear local sustainability stories and celebrate the winners of our 2016 awards.

About SWR Events
SWR hosts an event season focused on connecting program members, and local organizations with the expertise and collaborative learning opportunities necessary to implement effective sustainability strategies. Their events provide the unique networks, direction, and inspiration for building environmental sustainability into an organization’s culture. Anyone interested in making advancements towards more sustainable operations are welcome to attend all events that are not specified as members only.
Regional Carbon Initiative (RCI) members receive complimentary admission passes to events. If they are unable to attend events or wish to review speaker presentations, all event presentations are made available through MemberLink, the RCI online community. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
