Customers have an opportunity to participate by donating a toy through DWC’s customer portal, myDWC. For every first fastQuote a customer submitted, DWC donated a toy on their behalf. This year, over 250 toys were donated through the customer portal.
“Thank you DWC for once again brightening the day of so many deserving children through Toys for Tots,” said Bill Griesinger, of Rexel Electric in Denver, CO, who submitted a toy donation this year.
This marked the eleventh year of DWC’s annual toy drive. We purchased over $4,000 worth of toys that children were able to open as gifts on Christmas morning. None of this would have been possible without the help of our generous sponsors Aerospace Wire & Cable, Quabbin Wire & Cable and Comtran Cable.
When the holidays come around, DWC’ers also look forward to Give Back, A Lot. Last year, we set a goal to collect 200 or more toys to donate towards the toy drive. We decided to challenge the DWC Family again this year with the same goal. With the help of all departments, extended family and friends, we surpassed our goal and collected 220 toys!
At the end of the toy drive, together we collected almost 600 toys to donate to Toys for Tots. Thank you to our customers, suppliers and entire DWC Family for making it another successful year of collecting toys.
