The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
How do you punish an immortal?
By making him human.
After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disorientated, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus's favour.
But Apollo has many enemies - gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go . . . an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.
Review: When it comes to Rick Riordan, you can always expect something filled with humor and awesome characters. And THE HIDDEN ORACLE didn't let me down.
I have always loved Apollo. So finding a book about him and our friends from the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series... I got super excited.
This book was really good. Reading about all of the trials Apollo will be facing in this series was awesome.
And also seeing our old friends while meeting new ones.
It's crazy to read a Rick Riordan book where a God is going on quests and not the Demigods.
I am so excited for the next book in this series!
