Thank You Letter: Last Day of Internship

Mike Gil hehehe Thanks
“Beautiful and rare sights in this world are many, but an exemplary and incomparable Team like you are few. People come and go. Yet, I’m so glad to have met you.”
Good afternoon.
I am writing you this message as a bid of farewell before I finally take my exit. Lexmark’s announcement of my Leaving saddened me much from within but at the same time, it made me feel more motivated to even Push Forward to my journey to life. Not because I’m leaving you brokenhearted, but because you help me become the better version of myself I am right now. This bad news sent ripples to my heart).I am so unhappy to would have to leave you guys, and yet I am glad to have had the chance to work with a dynamic and excellent individual like you. Whilst it is true that “all good things must come to an end”, it doesn’t prevent the knowledge that someone is going to be truly missed. It has been an honor to be your intern, student, and family for over 15 months long in memory. It sounds very short yet living with all of you and the rest of the Lexmark nerds, whom I had acquaintance with, made it feels like it’s decade. The world out there wouldn’t be the same without you. And yet, as how sir Marvin say it,

Walk-in and brave through the application process but Walk-out leaving a very good and lasting impression about your school & work experiences.

Know that I and Mike have both benefited from all of your wit and wisdom, especially Sir Marvin: for your considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, your brave stance to challenge all the stressing parts in the organization, your undying support and beyond concern to always look after us even after knowing we messed up again, your strong sense of spirit to always encourage us to push forward and paddle our own canoes, your fatherly pieces of advice that have lifted the heavyweights in each of our hearts, your scary presence that made us all turn to silence when you stand in front of everybody, your after-effect jokes that consequently breaks that deafening silence inside and outside the lab, and your responsible adherence to all maxims and work site policies and procedures has been an inspiration to me. Your hard work here have not gone unnoticed, I have witnessed that all of you have always undertaken more than your share of the work.

It’s because of your support guys and in totality as a person that I am able to achieved success in our personal and professional life. Finding someone to fill your shoes will be no simple undertaking. If I could just only host an awarding event and/or shows like Grammy, Golden Globe, Oscars, Oprah, Guinness World of Records, Reader’s Digest and even those that speak of Nobel Prizes, I would not hesitate to present all of you, one by one, on winning the “International Best of the Best Person Award” for your relentless and selfless service to the organization and its people. By now you should know that all of you have been our greatest FW Team ever through thick and thin.
From the day our paths have bumped into each other and onwards, one thing has always been lingering to my mind, the fact that we’ve been together as one FW family – that’s the big part. I wish I could have stayed for longer, but my destiny needs me now. So it’s time for me to move on to conquer new battles and scale new heights. But, I wish that you won’t forget the old friends, students, interns, and colleagues  – Gibbrett and Mike – who, in one way or another, have loved you always (He he).
Oh, it’s March 4th, and the feeling starts to get blue. It’s rare to see a person leaving even if it’s something not already new. Even so, I wanted to say thank you from the very bottom of my heart for your time, stories, jokes, advice, ideas, effort, encouragement, tasks, pressures, support, assistance, donuts, pizzas and your painful-to-the-stomach bullies till the very end. With you, we have shared a unique camaraderie which I hope will continue in the years to come even though we shall not be around in the company anymore. This beautiful world is God’s handmade collage.. and as for your journey to Lexmark, I wish you

I really have so much to say in details with you but my fingers just can’t keep up with my emotions anymore. I know it’s hard to say it this way, but, goodbye team…😦:)
For one last time, THANK YOU IN A MILLION! <3Lovelots, hugs and kisses,

Brett and Mike
