Sub: Request for changing the extended library timings decision

For the last annual meeting, management taking a decision to extended the Library Timings from  7 am to 10 pm. It is very difficult for the library staff to work up do 10 pm. You please thought about the difficulties faced by the Library staff before arriving on a decision.

Normally in libraries to work over time either accommodation or transportation will be provided to the library staffs. The decision arrived at now is against the interest of the staff and it should be revised.

Further enquire about the library timings followed in Institutions in India. I admit there are libraries working 24 hours. But in such Institutions have more manpower , extra payment and flexible shifting time  to the staff will also be provided.

Please consider all aspects before arriving on a final decision.
