Who doesn't love a spot of Disney? I couldn't believe my luck when Mad Beauty, the stockists of Disney beauty, announced they were looking for collab opportunities. Moving completely out of my comfort zone I got in touch and to my astonishment a couple of weeks later I got a surprise parcel at my front door.
Borrowing my lovely little lady's Winnie The Pooh toy, I immediately took some snaps of this snazzy range and got to work on trying it all out.
The Winnie The Pooh collection from MAD Beauty consists of 6 products which includes:
The first item I have trialled is the Hand Wash. It features a honey and orange blossom scent and more than suitably matches the Winnie The Pooh theme. Out of the 2 subjects the honey comes across the strongest so if you love honey this will be right up your alley. It is quite strong though so be careful if you take a whiff out of the pot like I did.
The Hand Wash has a good thick texture and lathers up nicely. As I said before, the scent is quite strong so maybe don't use it as liberally as you use other hand soaps. This is a 250 ml bottle so it will last you a little while.
Next is the Body Balm. Also featuring the same scent of honey and orange blossom the Body Balm is very much like a body lotion in consistency and has a slightly more subtle scent than the hand wash. It absorbs pretty quickly and leaves skin feeling nourished.
I love the packaging of this product, especially the label saying it's the bees knees. The glass tub looks perfect on the dressing table and I have every intention of keeping the tub to reuse ... though don't know what for yet.
Lastly is the Lip Balm. Out of all 3 products I tried the Lip Balm first. I was thrilled to try this as I get really dry lips all year and I'm even more pleased to say that this product has been fab to use.
It feels a little like applying actual honey to your lips but once applied it isn't really sticky. It looks like you've applied a gloss. The Lip Balm is honey flavoured / scented and smells really nice in the pot. If you're looking for a Vaseline alternative this is for you. Honey is naturally moisturising so having it in a lip balm makes a lot of sense.
The Winnie The Pooh range is really affordable and as a collective they make a lovely gift.
