Déjà vu – That feeling of having been somewhere or experienced something once, or many times, before. Translated it means ‘already seen’ and is quite a powerful feeling to many. Well, here I am, experiencing the same thing. But this time it’s self-inflicted. I’ve been psyching myself up for a marathon three month Writing Challenge.

The work in question is The Brittle Land, currently standing at 14,000 words I’m really going to have to give it a bit of welly to get the target 100,000 words I need by the end of October… or sooner. Having already done this once this year for The Brittle Sea, it is certainly almost a Déjà vu moment, but a real one.
Here we go again.
