Party like it's 1968

well, POTUS, or SFB* as I like to call him, is tweeting and retweeting LAW & ORDER like some five year old spirit of Goebbels. I and others have called him a carnival barker many times, but it's more and more obvious when reality runs hard against him (the virus, and soon the economy). Baghdad Bob will have nothing on him, even if he does try to blame all of it on others.

Oh, and right now, he's Talking about the
ACA like he has an actual plan. Same with doubling down on protecting Statues of slavers who fought against America because they loved having slaves so much. So fuck all those statues and hopefully they are all torn down.

That being said, the "save the crappy statues" and "LAW AND ORDER" spasms our dear leader has are indicative of where his lead-addled brain is stuck. In that, it must be stuck in the 70s and 80s. So he thinks this will work (luckily it isn't so far). Some have stated that the white backlash to the civil rights (and the lead-fueled rise in crime) had real implications for this nation and it may be that, but it's also true that we're talking about a very different time.

Remember, 1968 was as far from us as it was from WWI. Think on that. [1]

Nevertheless, I'm still impressed, though that so many people still like him. I sense many of the economic problems are only now making their way through the system. Some friends have been laid off. More than just the service industry now. Damn. Be safe everyone.

*shit for brains, for those who are truly lost. Him and his lead-addled generation have only continually proven themselves in this regard.

[1] Though, a sad common denominator is that there was white supremacy and reactionary oligarchic powers through it all.
